A foundational workshop for yoga professionals rooted in social justice conversations to begin to uncover and dismantle inequity in the yoga industry.

This yoga workshop is intended to be a first step in moving towards truly diverse community with awareness and intentional action. We will seek to deepen our understanding of how inequality shows up in the yoga industry, cultivate empathy and compassion through personal stories and become accountable for aligning our actions with our stated values. In addition to hearing from thought leaders and community members on how people of color, the LGBTQ community, people with disabilities and those who have experienced trauma might experience inequality and discomfort in practice spaces and beyond, we will also touch on practical skills to offer asana variations so that people of all bodies and abilities feel comfortable in your classes.

Sliding scale pricing and scholarships available.
