What is Adaptive Yoga?
Adaptive yoga is a welcoming, trauma-informed practice designed for people with disabilities, mobility challenges, or chronic health conditions. Rather than focusing on rigid poses, adaptive yoga emphasizes safety, comfort, and empowerment. Props, modified postures, and personalized guidance allow every participant to move in a way that honors their body.
At Guided By Humanity, our teachers are trained in inclusive approaches that support both physical and emotional well-being. Whether you’re living with MS, recovering from a spinal cord injury, or navigating another life experience that affects mobility, adaptive yoga meets you where you are.
We offer adaptive yoga classes in-person at our Englewood studio on S Broadway (serving the Denver metro), at our Lakewood studio, and virtually online.
